		<description>&quot;It pays no attention to what the conscious mind does or does not know, or what it believes. Facts are right out the window. The subconscious deals with maybes and what-ifs and has long, convoluted storylines concerning the tiniest of events that the consciousness would dismiss as unimportant.&quot;

I can sympathise with that for there have been many a night (and sometimes day) when my mind plays similar tricks.

Without meaning to suggest a solution but rather to share what I have found, on many occasions I usually &quot;silence&quot; such thoughts by either thinking on other things, such as using my over active imagination (which is usually causing such tricks in the first place with me) to other thoughts such as role playing games, various worlds I have created in my mind and the like. Kinda like turning up the volume of music to cover the sound of neds outside.

Although I have to be honest that sometimes it does get so bad that I cannot divert such thoughts. On such occasions I do turn to prayer and that usually works. I know its a bit of a cliched thing to say but I believe it works and I suppose in the end its that which helps recentre my mind.

I can only hope you find something which will help you in a similar way, if not you always know where I am.
